Could the recruiting dead period be pushed back?
According to a CBS SPORTS Article Today, there are some discussions about pushing the Recruiting Dead period back to April 15th. If the dead period gets pushed back for football, it's likely the dead period will be pushed back for other sports like softball.
What does this mean for your recruiting process?
- The Divisions that push back the dead period will not be allowed to have camps and clinics this winter.
- It is going to be curtail for the student athletes to take ownership of their recruiting process and build relationships with college coaches.
