Scholarship Breakdown by Division

In each recruiting class, there is ONLY about 11,000 to 12,000 college softball roster spots available for the millions of kids looking for an offer/scholarship. How are you getting yourself ahead of all of the other student-athletes in your recruiting class?

Here is the breakdown buy school: 

  • NCAA DI:
    • 298 Softball Schools
    • Recruit about 5-6 players per year (Rosters of about 20)
    • About 1,500-1,700 DI Softball Spots available per Recruiting Class
    • 12 Scholarships Available Per School (but not all schools have 12 some have 6 and some only have 4 - depending on budgets).
  • NCAA DII:
    • 288 Softball Schools
    • Recruit about 5-6 players per year
    • About 1,500-1,700 DII Softball Spots available per Recruiting Class
    • 7.2 Scholarships Available (many have less money available to give out due to low budgets).
  • NCAA DIII:
    • 418 Softball Schools
    • Recruiting about 5-6 players per year
    • About 2,000-2,500 DIII Softball Spots available per Recruiting Class
    • No Softball Scholarship Available 
  • NAIA:
    • 195 Softball Schools
    • Recruiting about 5 players per year
    • About 1,000 NAIA Softball Spots available per Recruiting Class
    • 10 Softball Scholarships Available 
  • NJCAA (DI, DII, DIII):
    • 525 Softball Schools
    • Recruiting about 8 players per year
    • About 4,200 Softball Spots available per Recruiting Class
    • 24 Softball Scholarships Available (up to each individual school's and budgets)
